

Why microgreens?

Besides of explosion of flavours and colours added to the plate, microgreens are a superfood packed with antioxidants and other health-promoting nutrients including beta-carotene, vitamins C, E, K and others in higher nutritional densities than their mature counterparts. To reap the health benefits, it’s important to eat them as soon as you cut them because they start to lose their nutritional value once they have been harvested. We seed, plant and grow the microgreens to readiness and deliver the live plants weekly in returnable food safe trays (so low or no waste products). These can be placed in your kitchen, pantry or service area so you can harvest them right at the moment to add it on the plate. Another idea is to choose some containers for your tables and little scissors so that the customers can harvest themselves!
